Established in 1986, Mountain Jade is still a family run business of crafters and carvers dedicated to uncovering the finest quality jade from New Zealand and around the world.

Our carvings are steeped in meaning and inspired by the art, culture, and history of New Zealand. We pay homage to traditional Māori designs passed down through generations while pushing creative boundaries in contemporary art.

We work with renowned artists from across New Zealand to bring together the largest and most diverse collection of greenstone carvings in the country. Our artists are deeply connected to the stone they use and take extreme care when carving each piece by hand, ensuring they work responsibly and sustainably for future generations.

The Mountain Jade airport space is designed to help customers on their own journey of discovery, as they uncover the meanings behind the designs and the unique origins and properties of the stones.
