Important information relating to Cyclone Gabrielle - advice for travellers

All flights at the Domestic and International terminals are operating as normal, however please check with your airline that your flight is operating before coming to the airport.
Terminal operations, including retail, dining, car parking and transport, are all up and running as normal.
Advice for travellers:
- Travellers should check airline websites, travel apps or email for airline or travel agent updates before leaving for the airport, and monitor Auckland Airport social media channels for updates about airport operations
- Stay up to date with the latest information on your route to the airport on the Waka Kotahi website or AT for updates to the public transport network
- We recommend you pack any essential medication and a change of clothes in your carry-on baggage just in case your travel is disrupted
- Terminal retailers and dining options are expected to operate as normal
- Auckland Airport car parks and pick-up / drop-off areas remain operational. Make sure you park safely within dedicated spaces and ensure your vehicle is locked, windows closed and lights off. Use the free bus service from Car Parks D & E for easy transfer to the international terminal. More information on parking at the airport here
- Park and ride bus services – For the domestic terminal these will operate every 10 minutes, for the international terminal bus services will operate as normal, weather dependent.
- The SkyDrive (city bus service), the Airport - Puhinui bus link, and the Yellow bus service is operating as normal, weather dependant. Public transport information can be found on the AT website
- Taxis and ride sharing services are operating from both terminals.
- For international travellers with accessibility requirements, please use the mobility valet, the dedicated spaces public pick up/drop off, the designated spaces in the short-term car park alongside the Novotel, or the bus operating from Car Parks D & E that kneels on request.

- The Collection Point is open at international terminal for both arriving and departing flights now. Please check with your airlines for the latest information on the flights (or refer to our AIAL flight board). I’ve got a car park booking at Auckland Airport, what do I need to know?
